Elizaveta Leeper

Hi, I'm Elizaveta but I go by Liza (pronounced "Lee-za")!

I've been a therapist for five years after deciding med school and residency wasn't for me. I hold dual licensure in Mental Health and Addiction Treatment and am passionate about treating both, especially from a preventative standpoint in chronic pain patients. I am also a chronically ill, disabled therapist with lived experience of the lengthy, difficult Rare Disease diagnostic journey in the American healthcare system.

Environmental Sustainability and a Do-It-Yourself attitude towards life are important to me, and a large part of why I decided to start my own mental health practice.

I have three cats!

I highly believe in the the healing and restorative power that our furry (and feathery!) friends can impart on our lives.

Qualifications

I've been working as a counselor since 2019, and in the field since my teen years.

I have had the distinct privilege of working in every level of care, which enhances my confidence when I make recommendations to clients and families about which next steps to take for their mental health journey, whether their issues are mild or very severe.
